Accessibility statement
Crews check vehicles in the dark, in gloves and in the rain. Building for every user starts there. Last updated 15 October 2026.
Our aim
We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across this website, the dashboards and the apps for every Escudo product.
How we test
- Every page of this website is scanned with an automated accessibility checker, and the problems it finds are fixed before release.
- We check colour contrast against the AA ratios, keyboard use without a mouse, visible focus, headings in order, and text alternatives for images.
- The app is built for the conditions people work in: large touch targets for gloved hands, a dark mode for night checks, plain words, and no time limit on any screen.
What we know falls short
- The walkthrough films on this website are silent animations with on-screen captions. Screen readers hear each caption and a text list of every step, but there is no audio narration.
- The app has not yet been tested end to end with a screen reader. We are doing that work now.
Tell us about a barrier
If anything in an Escudo product stops you or your people from doing what you need, email info@escudoready.com. Tell us the page or screen and what happened. We will reply within five business days and tell you what we will do about it.
